Tom is the founder and managing director of ThomasPrice. With over 20 years experience within the financial services industry, Tom brings significant professional knowledge as well as an intimate understanding of the challenges facing the industry.

As part of leading advice networks, Tom has been employed in senior positions within some of Australia’s largest Financial Planning and Funds Management firms. Within these networks Tom has played key roles chairing several investment committees and managing technical teams.

Tom’s skill set and expertise extends to presenting to accountants and lawyers on Self Managed Superannuation Fund issues and legislative updates. He is a member of various investment committees and has provided investment advice to many Government employees with regard to defined benefit funds. Tom has also provided superannuation and estate planning advice to professionals considering retiring or selling their business and is a consultant to various sporting and charitable bodies.

Senior Adviser at Thomas Price, John is an authorised representative with over 30 years’ experience in the Financial Planning Industry.

John began his career in the industry in the late 1980s in a client servicing role. Since this time, he has progressed through several roles including technical paraplanning, product research, marketing, and business management.

John has been a financial planner since 1997. He has been an authorised representative through several Dealers Licences, through two main companies, and was also a responsible officer on a licence. His focus and style with clients is to develop a clear understanding of their lifestyle objectives, then deliver a wide range of holistic advice and solutions to meet the personal needs of their family. Since 1997, John has also been an investment committee member including chairmanship over a number of years.

Outside of Thomas Price, John is an advocate for health and fitness, and also a member of the MCC. John also enjoys travel and the outdoor lifestyle including bushwalking. trail Running and regular trips to the country to visit family and friends.

As a mum Natalie brings a very real and relatable perspective to wealth management. She’s passionate about ensuring clients achieve financial security and the independence to enjoy what’s important to them in life.

Natalie’s role is to implement the most appropriate financial strategies to a client’s current and future circumstances.

Outside of Thomas Price, Natalie enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, a glass of wine and keeping fit and active.

Ian commenced in Wealth Management in 1985 and has subsequently pursued a career in Private Wealth Management since then and has advised clients both throughout Australia and overseas.

He has advised many well-known individuals and families on both sides of their balance sheet and has advised clients on both their personal and family financial arrangements as well as intergenerationally.

Ian has a strong service philosophy coupled with a desire to ensure clients are well and appropriately organised to maximise their financial resources.

Ian has previously been an active member of various task forces and committees for the Financial Planning Association’s Professional Education. Ian was invited by ASIC to participate as an assessor in their Shadow Shopper survey and was invited by Personal Investor (later AFR Smart Investor) to design, set and review the assessment for their annual Top 50 Masterclass. Ian has both taught and assessed many of the FPA Diploma and Certification subjects during his involvement with FPA Professional education.

Di Synnott has been with Thomas Price since March 2015 and has a broad base of skills across a variety of industries including Legal as a Para-legal Assistant and Retail Design as PA/Office Manager. Di brings excellent Relationship skills and provides first point of contact for customers.

Nina IaFraté

After completing work experience at Armytage Private and taking a keen interest in Economics during VCE, Nina went on to study a Bachelor of Banking and Finance at Monash University. Due to COVID-19, Nina completed most of her degree remotely while living in Perth, before returning to Melbourne at the start of 2022 to round out her studies on campus. Nina joined Thomas Price part time in March 2022 during her final semester of studying, before going full time mid-year

Jake has a passion for the understanding financial markets, economic environments, and investment strategies, his ambition is to become a Portfolio Manager. Outside of work Jake enjoys keeping physically fit through rock climbing, hiking, running, and kayaking.
